Cambridge IGCSEA-LevelCheckpointSPMIELTS

Your papers, marked the moment your students answer.

Bring your school's own question bank and syllabus, or start from ours. An AI examiner marks every written answer against the mark scheme and names the marking point the student missed, so your teachers walk into the next lesson already knowing what to teach.

Onboarding is hands-on. We set up your subjects, your syllabus structure and your first question bank with you on the call, not afterwards in a manual.

An answer marked 1 out of 2 inside Axiom. The examiner feedback explains that (x + 3) squared has two middle terms, the mark scheme lists its four marking points, and the student's answer, x squared plus 3x plus 9, is shown underneath.
What a student sees, from the live product. The marking points are shown, so a teacher can check the reasoning rather than trust a score.

What changes on Monday

Marking is the bottleneck, not the teaching

A class of thirty sits a paper. A week later they get it back, and by then nobody remembers what they were thinking when they wrote the answer. Axiom closes that week.

01

Your students answer

On your papers or ours. They type it, write it on screen, or photograph the working they did by hand, so paper practice still counts.

02

Every answer is marked, point by point

Each question carries its marking points. The examiner checks the answer against each one, awards the marks it can justify, and shows the student the list it used.

03

The student sees the point they missed

Not a bare score. The specific marking point that was absent, and a coach they can ask in their own language when the feedback itself is the hard part.

04

Your teacher opens the console already knowing

Per-skill accuracy and topic progress per student, who has gone quiet, and who is waiting on feedback. The hour of lesson time goes where it moves the grade.

Built around your school

Your questions, your syllabus, your classes

Axiom mirrors how your school already works rather than asking you to adopt a fixed curriculum. Content you import is scoped to your school.

✓Bulk-import your own question bank as JSON, with answers and mark schemes, including MCQ, short answer and essay questions.
✓Create your own subjects and edit the syllabus categories and topics beneath them, so questions are tagged to your structure rather than a generic global one.
✓Classes carry a year group and an academic year, and students are assigned to them. You can roll a class over at the end of the year.
✓Assign practice to a whole class at once instead of student by student.
✓Start from the shared bank on day one while your own content is being imported, so nobody waits for setup to finish.

We do the first import with you. Book a demo and bring one of your own papers to the call.

For your teachers

What a teacher actually sees

This list is what is on the screen today, not a roadmap. If something you need is not here, say so on the call and we will tell you straight whether it exists.

✓Per-skill accuracy and topic progress for any student you open.
✓Their submission and essay history, including what they wrote and what it scored.
✓Weekly reports you can generate, comment on, and send.
✓Who has gone quiet: the dashboard flags students inactive for seven days or more.
✓Who is waiting on you: students needing feedback and students who still have not sat a diagnostic.
✓Cohort filters by class and by period, so a form teacher and a head of department see different views of the same data.
Where we draw the line

What the AI does, and what it will not do

You are buying this for other people's children, so here is the boundary before you ask.

It does

  • ✓Mark written answers against the marking points for that question, and show the points it used.
  • ✓Award partial marks, so half an answer is worth half the marks and the student is told which half.
  • ✓Read handwriting from a photograph and mark the working line by line.
  • ✓Explain the feedback in the student's own language while keeping the answer itself in English.
  • ✓Work on your own papers once they are imported.

It does not

  • ×Produce a grade that counts. Every mark is practice feedback, never an official result.
  • ×Get it right every time. It shows its marking points so a teacher can check and overrule it. Where it disagrees with your teacher, your teacher is right.
  • ×Replace a teacher. It covers the wait between a student handing work in and getting it back.
  • ×Send automatic at-risk alerts. The dashboard shows who has gone quiet; nothing emails a parent on its own.
  • ×Claim any link to an exam board. We are independent, and we say so again at the foot of this page.
Coverage

Check your syllabus codes against this list

These counts come straight out of the question bank, so they are the real figures rather than a rounded-up claim. This is what your students can start on before you import anything.

One per-student licence, quoted on the call

We do not publish a number because a twenty-student centre and a whole-school group are not the same conversation. What the licence includes is fixed, and it is everything below.

✓Your own question bank, imported and scoped to your school.
✓Your subjects, syllabus structure and classes, set up with you.
✓The teacher console and cohort filters for every teacher you need.
✓The adaptive engine, which picks each student's next question from what they have got wrong.
✓The shared bank, so your students have 18,459 questions to work on from day one.

Individual students can use Axiom free at axiom.the-index.net. The school licence is for the console, your own content and the cohort view.

Questions

What schools ask before the call

Do we have to use your question bank, or can we use our own papers?

Either, and most schools do both. 18,459 exam-style questions are ready on day one, and you can bulk-import your own bank as JSON with answers and mark schemes. Your imported content is scoped to your school.

How does the AI marking work, and what happens when it is wrong?

Every question carries its marking points. When a student submits, the AI examiner checks the answer against those points one at a time, awards the marks it can justify, and shows the student which point was missing. It shows the marking points it used, so a teacher can see the reasoning and overrule it. It is practice feedback, never an official grade, and where it disagrees with your teacher your teacher is right.

What can a teacher actually see?

Open a student and you get per-skill accuracy and topic progress, their submission and essay history, and the weekly report. The dashboard flags who has been inactive for seven days or more, who is waiting on feedback, and who still needs a diagnostic. You can assign practice to a whole class at once.

Can we mirror our own subjects, chapters and classes?

Yes. You create your own subjects and edit the syllabus categories and topics beneath them, so questions are tagged to your structure rather than a generic global one. Classes carry a year group and an academic year, and students are assigned to them.

How long does setup take, and who does it?

We do it with you. Onboarding is hands-on: we set up your subjects, your syllabus structure and your first question bank together on a call, rather than handing you an empty console and a manual.

What does it cost?

One per-student licence that includes your own question bank, your syllabus and class structure, the teacher console and the adaptive engine. We quote it against your student numbers on the call, because a twenty-student centre and a whole-school group are not the same conversation.

Who owns the questions we upload?

You do. We do not sell it, and we do not put it in another school's practice. If you leave, tell us and we remove it.

Are you affiliated with Cambridge or any exam board?

No. Axiom is an independent study tool. We reference published syllabus codes and mark scheme wording so that practice matches the real papers, but we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia, or any other board.
